Business leadership & decisions
As a CEO and business owner, I think about direction, priorities and people. I connect technical questions with what makes sense for the business as a whole.
I lead businesses and have a technical background. This is where my understanding of technology, experience with digital products and perspective on their direction come together.
Subjects I work with, return to and connect with one another.
As a CEO and business owner, I think about direction, priorities and people. I connect technical questions with what makes sense for the business as a whole.
Web applications, mobile environments and content management systems form my technical foundation. I am interested in the path from a product’s structure to its everyday use.
I see visual design and function together. I am interested in how people navigate a product, what they understand and where they get lost.
Behind an interface are architecture, databases and infrastructure. My focus includes the connections between data, deployment, operations and system security.
I am interested in how content reaches people and how to tell whether it is useful to them. This connects analytics, discoverability and the way a business communicates.
Photography is another part of my focus. Alongside the technical aspects, I am interested in composition, light and capturing an atmosphere or a personal perspective.
I am interested in how things work inside and what they mean as a whole. Leading businesses brings people, priorities and responsibility for decisions into those technical questions.
My focus evolves with the work I do. I want to gradually share the experiences and questions that emerge in my journal.
